Long Beach Salad Search- Nick's on 2nd

It's that time again and I'm in the mood for a salad!  I love this challenge it's so fun.  Where do you think we should go today?  Someone suggested Nick's on 2nd Street which I love and it's Friday!  It's Wednesday Hayley.  When you work on the weekends, Wednesday is your Friday! So off to 2nd street we went.  Nick's is a special occasion restuarant that really never seems to disappoint.  You can see here the cute bar, impeccable kitchen and inventive menu and let's not forget the awesome wait staff.  Our server, Christian, gave us a rundown of the salad menu and recommended we go with the Grilled Steakhouse Salad and also the Kale and Quinoa.  He also suggested we had the salmon blacked which sounded great.  Oops!  We got wine!  Let the record reflect Christian did not steer us wrong, both salads were so dang good and although we loved the Grilled Steakhouse, the Kale Quinoa is really where it was at for both of us.
